The season for apple harvest has arrived and BYU-Idaho Horticulture invites you to discover the Apple Orchard Museum. Our collection of apples includes over 120 varieties. You'll recognize some favorites like Gala, Jonathan, and Golden Delicious along many unique, rare apples like Doctor Matthews, Lowland Raspberry, Joyce, and Collett. You'll find all the necessary tools and information provided for you in the apple shed located on the North/West corner of the orchard. The shed is open as a self service station from 6:00 am - 9:00 pm. Please bring bags to carry your apples home after picking. we hope you enjoy your time in the orchard and ask only that you abide by our rules of etiquette while your are in the orchard. You can leave us any comments or suggestions about your visit in the apple shed.
Orchard Etiquette: 1. Only pick the fruit you intend to keep 2. Please keep children from climbing the trees 3. Replace ladders and buckets after use 4. Respect the schools property; pick up trash and personal belongings 5. Please do not pick fruit with signs that indicate so (raspberries, strawberries, etc.)
