Horticulture Summer Closing Social 2010

Tuesday, July 13th was our closing social for the semester.  It was a blast and we had a great turn out.  The steaks were cooked perfectly and the salad and rolls were great sides.  The home made root beer was phenomenal.  Dessert was ice cream with chocolate syrup and if you stuck around long enough, there were birthday cupcakes!  It was Shawn Olson's daughter Samantha's birthday. A wildland fire started up at INL early afternoon on Tuesday and created a very cool looking sky from all the smoke.  For more information about that fire click here. The source of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.  All in all, this social was a success.  Thank you to all those involved in putting it on.  Thank you cooks for all the great food!
